- Prepare 225 g of unsalted butter.
- Prepare 100 g of sugar.

- It's 1 tsp of bicarbonate of soda.
- It's 2 tsp of vanilla.
- You need 315 g of plain flour.
- It's 2 tbsp of cinnamon.

Stir in flour, nutmeg, salt and baking soda. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar. Beat in the eggs until well blended.
